Alignment Simulation Tool M. Mantovani M. Mantovani Simulation Meeting 26 March 2009

Requirements Radiation pressure computation Simple modeling of the suspension TF Complex suspensions (multiple mirrors hanged) Time domain VS frequency domain For the Automatic Alignment steady state simulation it is enough the frequency domain, there is no needed an automatic alignment acquisition study Higher order modes Would be preferable to have at least n+m = 3 Possibility to have static misalignment of the mirrors To simulate the error signals, offsets, linear regions M. Mantovani Simulation Meeting 26 March 2009

Requirements Simulation in both direction To have the possibility to choose between pitch and yaw M. Mantovani Simulation Meeting 26 March 2009
