Finding Special Products A perfect-square trinomial is a trinomial that is the result of squaring a binomial. While special products have special patterns, the best way to solve them is using the “Punnett Rectangles” or FOIL.

Polynomial Perfect Squares Multiply:

The Difference of Two Squares CONJUGATES With conjugates, the FIRST TERMS are exactly the SAME. The SECOND TERMS are OPPOSITES.
