More definitions Polynomial – a monomial or a sum/difference of monomials Monomial – 1 term Binomial – 2 terms Trinomial – 3 terms Term – a monomial in a polynomial Like terms – terms that have the exact same variables with the exact same exponents, but may differ by a coefficient Degree of a polynomial – the largest degree of the terms in the polynomial
