Peninsula A piece of land surrounded by water on three sides.

Glacier Huge body of ice that moves slowly over land.

Bay Part of an ocean or lake partly enclosed by land.

Coast Land that borders on the sea or ocean.

Isthmus Narrow landform connecting 2 larger pieces of land.

Lake Body of water encircled by land.

Mouth of a river Where a river flows into a larger body of water.

Delta An area formed by soil washed downstream by a river.

Plateau Large level area of high land.

Mountain Range A group of connected steep high land areas.

Lowland between hills or mountains. Valley Lowland between hills or mountains.
