Aims of SEE Science Festivals 2 The main aim of SEE Science Festivals (SF) is to raise public awareness regarding science, innovation and technology, and also contribute to the regular communication and dissemination of different project activities. Specifically the festivals will directly contribute to the project objectives by: increasing scientific awareness among the citizens of a community; making innovation more accessible to society; promoting widespread access to new knowledge and science experiences; encouraging young people to study further science and technology fields and consider careers in these areas; facilitating new networks and strengthen existing ones; providing a venue for scientists to communicate with the general public; engaging new audiences; networking transnational events
