The Mysterious Venus Flytrap Brought to you by Rachel S. 4th grade Bond

What dose a Venus Flytrap eat? They eat spiders, frogs, mice. Also they can get minerals from the creatures bodies. The Venus flytrap dose eat worms but only 2 types, also they are meal worms and blood worms. These are the other delusions meals for the the Venus flytrap beetles, ants, and grasshoppers.

How does a Venus flytrap hunt? If the Venus flytrap wants to have dinner its has to look like a flower and the inside dose. Next they will wait for it to come and sit on it then they will close its mouth and eat it. So do you know the stems on the flytraps lip well it’s actually called trigger hairs there called that because when a bug comes and touches the hairs it triggers the brain for mouth to open.

The Venus flytrap has a cool appearance! The Venus flytrap looks like a flower on the inside and their about a foot tall. Also their 30cm tall and did you know that a flytrap is not a tropical. In spring they have flowers grow on them to make even more bugs come to them. Each stem reaches about to 3 to 10 centimeters tall depending on the year.

A Venus Flytrap has such a weird behaviors. The Venus flytrap is a really good hunter. Sometimes they can be difficult to grow. With the Venus flytrap there very picky eaters because if it isn’t food 12hours later it will spit it out. This ant is dead so the flytrap wont eat it.

A Venus Flytrap has such a weird behaviors ( continued). Another thing is if its dead or won’t move it will not close tightly. Also they gather nutrients from gasses and soil, and their healthier from insects.

It’s so gross where a Venus flytrap lives! Venus flytraps live in swamps “ that’s so gross!” They are only found in the USA, and poor environments. Also in wet savannas and green swamp in New York City. These are all the other places for them to found North and South Carolina also Northern Florida.
