Figure 4 ζ-Crystallin (ζ-Crys) is constitutively present in medullary thick ascending limb (MTAL) tubules and thick ascending limb (TAL) cells. An isolated MTAL tubule suspension was prepared, and TAL cells were harvested for western blot analysis as described in the text. Total protein (60μg) was loaded.
