Lay on the Table Purpose: To delay action on the pending motion. Must be taken up this meeting or the next (as long as next meeting is within the quarter). Salient Pts: Y,N,N,M “I move to lay on the table the motion that…”

Take from the Table Purpose: Bring back an item Laid on the Table Salient Pts. Y,N,N,M “I move to take from the table the motion that…”

Limit or Extend Time for Debate Provides more or less time for discussion. Impacts the # or length of debates. “I move to limit/extend debate to ___” Salient Points: Y,Y,N,2/3
