5.13 Power control harmonization September 2014 5.13 Power control harmonization The harmonized frame structure contains a contention-free period (CFP) and contention-access period (CAP): During the CFP, power control is NICTA-NICT’s proposal for distributed power control. Open loop power control operates better in this scenario. This may take context aware info (Interdigital) as initial conditions. During the CAP, power control is Interdigital’s proposal.
