“No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.” - Aesop

Kindness is… the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

13th November (every year) = UK Kindness Day

What are you going to do today that is considerate and kind? Some ideas about acts of kindness:

Be unfailingly polite to every single person that you meet Swap places with the person behind you in the queue Say something nice about someone

Forgive someone Listen to someone’s problem without immediately comparing it to one of your own

Give up your seat for someone on the bus. Find some old books you don’t want any more and donate them to the library! Please!

In the canteen, offer to take someone else’s tray back with yours. Offer to help someone carrying something. Hold a door open for someone and let them through first.

Smile at everyone you see Phone an elderly relative and talk to them for a minimum of ten minutes Smile at everyone you see Pick up some litter – even if it’s not yours!

Let’s make kindness our Kingstone habit.
