Closing Thoughts and Reflection

Agree or Disagree  After today, I have a clearer understanding of the content of the standards and elements. After today, I am less stressed about capturing evidence during a lesson. After seeing who agreed with the last statement, I am more stressed about capturing evidence. I got to see a new strategy I had never used before. I wish we had had more time for free-flowing collegial conversation today. I wish we had had more time for analyzing the lesson today. My brain is tired, but I feel like I worked productively today. My brain is not tired—let’s go for another 8 hours!

Closing Reflections How have the collegial conversations today impacted your view of how observations of a teacher can help to develop support systems to strengthen evaluation and teaching? What commitment will you make, individually and collectively, as a result of your learning? What are your responsibilities as an educator to assure that observations are consistent across the district? *
