Section 1: Unit 9 Vocabulary Look at the following pictures. Make a sentence for each picture using a vocabulary phrase from page 56. This section will follow the format below: Professor: What’s wrong? Student: She broke her arm.

Section 2: Choosing the Right Sentence Using the Past Continuous Look at the following pictures. I will give you 4 sentences. You must choose the correct sentence that matches the picture. You may see the pictures of this PPT, but not the sentences. You will see the sentences when you do your Speaking Test.

Section 3: Say what someone was doing when something else happened. Look at the following pictures. This section will follow the format below: Professor: What was he doing when he hurt his hand? Student: He was playing baseball.

Section 4: Make a sentence using the Past Continuous + WHEN or WHILE. Look at the following 10 pictures. Choose any 5 pictures. Make a sentence for each picture. Use the Past Continuous + WHEN or WHILE. For example: He was running when the car hit him.
