Mental Health Connection Strategic Plan

Mental Health Connection Strategic Plan Goal: Advocacy Educate decision makers and encourage support of policies that demonstrate Tarrant County’s priorities for a quality, accessible mental healthcare system.

Mental Health Connection Strategic Plan Goal: Maximizing the Use of Technology Increase information sharing across agencies, resulting in consumers’ ability to access services more readily and increasing agency efficiency

Mental Health Connection Strategic Plan Goal: Social Marketing Increase understanding of mental illness, reduce stigma regarding mental illness and promote the branding of the No Wrong Door model and philosophy

Mental Health Connection Strategic Plan Goal: Evidence-Based Practices Narrow the gap between research, practice and policy by promoting the education in and implementation of research-based practices and models, including emerging evidence-based practices

Mental Health Connection Strategic Plan Goal: Knowledge and Leadership Provide collaborative education and training opportunities, including leadership and skills-based training, and identify, recruit and sustain a highly qualified mental health workforce in Tarrant County.

Mental Health Connection Strategic Plan Goal: Individuals and Families Increase the inclusion and meaningful participation of consumers in providing strengths-based, family driven services in Tarrant County’s system of care for people of all ages.

Mental Health Connection Strategic Plan Goal: Evaluation and Outcomes Provide education, consultation and support for agencies engaged in developing and maintaining program evaluation and meaningful outcomes, including cost benefit analysis.
