Iglu (IG-loo) is the Inuit word for house. An Iglu is made of tightly packed snow or sod “bricks”. During the summer Inuit people live in have homes made of animal hides.

Snow goggles made from antlers and bone are worn to protect the face and eyes from the bright sun light reflecting off the Artic snow.
