Clearly mark your answers. If you have extra time, go back and check your answers. Your first response is probably your best response. Do not change answer unless you have a reason to do so. If the question is confusing, look at the answers. They often explain the question. Don’t spend too much time on any of the questions. Underline key words in the questions, especially those that indicate how the teacher wants the questions answered; for example, words such as analyze, compare, list , explain. If the question asks for a comparison, be sure you do that. Make a brief outline. Middle School counseling
