Figure 1. Organizational Structure of the University of Florida Your Title Goes Here Your Name Goes Here, UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Gainesville, Florida Background Your content goes here. Don’t change fonts, sizes, layouts or colors. Do not add additional logos. Filling the poster template with your work will result in an attractive poster that will be will received by your scientific colleagues. Use each column in the same way, repeating headings and providing text and pictures to fill up the poster. This template produces a 6’ by 3’ poster. This is a very common size for scientific poster sessions. You should be able to fit about 400 words of text in each column. You may find it best to write your material in Word and then cut and paste it into this template in PowerPoint. Column Two Continue to fill the poster with your findings. Your poster will be most attractive if each column begins with a heading. You may want to rewrite text and reposition elements on the poster so that each column begins with a heading. You can fill an entire column using one text box – the text box expands as more text is added. Column Three Continue your material in column 3. Next Steps Continue to fill the columns. Using PowerPoint, it is easy to save your poster as a PDF, to print it at a copy center. Displaying graphics Insert graphics into your presentation as images – JPG or PNG. Scale your image for attractive presentation. Do not use borders or other enhancements. Text boxes and images in PowerPoint are distinct. References 1 Provide your references here. PowerPoint does not provide automatic footnote numbering. You will need to create reference numbers in your text and hand edit them here for each reference. Use superscript font to provide a reference number for each item. You will need to add a text box to get text to appear on the side of a n image as in this case. Use care when positioning text boxes so that text margins line up vertically and breaks between paragraphs have consistent spacing.. Use an additional text box for a figure caption, as shown to the right. Figure 1. Organizational Structure of the University of Florida Use this area to list additional collaborators (there is plenty of room here to list more than 100 people if neded) and acknowledge support including funding. For the CTSI, Use a statement such as This work supported in part by NIH/NCRR CTSA award to the University of Florida UL1 RR029890.
