Talking about What is abuse?

Guidance for tutors Explain this clip is a new advert using actors from TV soap Hollyoaks to raise awareness that abuse is not always physical. Click the photo on the playing slide to link to the clip. Discuss which parts could be seen as abusive? Ask what kinds of abuse are there? How would someone feel in this scenario? Is relationship abuse limited to adults? Has anyone ever seen/heard that friends have been in similar situations? Inform students to search ‘this is abuse’ for help and advice if you or someone you care about is a victim of abuse.
