Professors’ love/hate relationship with PowerPoint What annoys audiences about PowerPoint presentations? Speaker reads the slides Text too small Colors make slide hard to read Use of full sentences to describe something that can be completed in a bullet point.

Presenter does not add to what the slide says What goes wrong Presenter does not add to what the slide says

What goes wrong part II Presenter doesn’t know how to use the equipment Presenter uses PowerPoint when he or she could have a simple conversation with audience
