4. The church of Christ does not believe in the Old Testament? We believe it is profitable 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 We believe it was given by the Holy Spirit 2 Peter 1:21 We believe it was written for our learning Romans 15:4; 1 Cor. 10:11 We do not believe it was written to be the law for the church!

Do you believe what the Old Testament says about itself? Do you believe the New Testament when it speaks about the Old Testament? Do you believe what the Old Testament says about itself? Jeremiah 31:31-34 Hebrews 8:13 “Nevertheless what does the Scripture say?”

Will You Stand For The New Covenant? “Then the king stood by a pillar and made a covenant before the LORD, to follow the LORD and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people took a stand for the covenant.” 2 Kings 23:3

5. The church of Christ does not believe in the Holy Spirit?

Christ’s Church Believes: The Apostles were promised the Holy Spirit (John 14:16, 17; Lk. 24:46-49) Only apostles could give the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:13-19) Only apostles received Holy Spirit baptism on Pentecost (Acts 1:26; 2:4)

6. The church of Christ teaches water salvation? We preach baptism: Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3, 4; 1 Cor. 12:13; Gal. 3:27; 1 Pet. 3:21 The element is water (Acts 8:36-38) The means is the blood (Rom. 5:9, 10) Baptism is the method to apply (Rom. 6:3)

The Slandered Church Has always been spoken against—Acts 28:22 “Let not a slanderer be established in the earth…” (Ps. 140:11) “They are all stubborn rebels, walking as slanderers. They are bronze and iron, They are all corrupters” (Jer. 6:28)

The Truth 1 John 4:6, “We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” 1John 5:19, “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.” 1John 5:20, “And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.”
