Hicksville This week in: We are learning: Week of Sept. 25 to Sept. 29 Math: Decimals comparing, ordering, and representing decimals with base ten models. Student Learning Goal: 4.N.2.7 Compare and order decimals and whole numbers using place value, a number line and models such as grids and base 10 blocks. Language Arts: Lesson 3 Words-Vocabulary/Parts of Speech including prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Student Learning Goals: 4.5.R.1 I can identify the correct parts of speech, including noun, verb, adverb, adjectives, and pronouns. Science: Investigating Light and Heat Student Learning Goals: Energy can be moved from place to place by moving objects or through sound, light, or electric currents.
