Health & Safety The University of Iowa has dedicated staff that can help me identify, consider and plan for known health, safety and security risks while I am abroad. My program is vetted and monitored by the study abroad office UI also works with a 3rd party provider to make sure plans and procedures are in place if an emergency arises Mandatory health insurance coverage 24/7 emergency contact if help is needed If you have questions you are welcome to direct them to safety-abroad@uiowa.edu You can also find more information at Health, Safety & Security Abroad
