Table of Contents History What is Industry 4.0? 2.1.What is Embedded System? 2.2.What is Cyber-Physical System? 2.3.What is Internet of Things? 3.What comes with Industry 4.0?

Hıstory The term was first used in 2011 at the Hannover Fair. Industrie 4.0 (Robert Bosch GmbH & Hanning Kogerman, Germany) Industrial Internet (General Electric, U.S.) It is the world's biggest industrial fair.

What ıs Industry 4.0 ? “Industry 4.0” refers to the technological evaluation from embedded system to cyber-physical systems. “Industry 4.0” represents the coming fourth industrial revolution on the way to an Internet of Things, Data and Services.

What is an Embedded System? Embedded systems are the intelligent central control units at work in most modern technological products and devices. An embedded system is some combination of computer hardware and software, either fixed in capability or programmable, that is specifically designed for a particular function. It is embedded as part of a complete device often including hardware and mechanical parts.

What ıs a Cyber-Physıcal System ? Cyber-physical systems (CPS) are enabling technologies which bring the virtual and physical worlds together to create a truly networked world in which intelligent objects communicate and interact with each other. -CPS is a system of collaborating computational elements controlling physical entities -CPS are enabling technologies which bring virtual and physical worlds together to create a truly networked worked in which intelligent objects communicate and interact with each other -CPS represent the next evolutionary step from existing step from existing embedded systems -CPS also represent a paradigm break from existing business and market models, as revolutionary new applications, service provider and value chain become possible.

What ıs Internet of Thıngs ? IoT is the network of physical objects—devices, vehicles, buildings and other items which are embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these objects to collect and exchange data.

The deployment of cyber-physical systems in production systems gives birth to the smart factory. In the smart factory, products talk to each stage of the production process. Smart factory products, resources and processes are characterized by cyber-physical systems; providing significant real-time quality, time, resource, and cost advantages in comparison with classic production systems.

What comes wıth ındustry 4.0 ? Autonomous production methods increase efficiency along the entire production chain. Costs are reduced through the elimination of line controllers. Software integration allows companies to analyze masses of data in real time. Production is more flexible because systems making it possible to modify production sequences at short notice. Allows customized, highly configurable products to be produced at costs comparable to those of mass manufacture.
