Energy Input to Titan: Solar XUV, Magnetosphere Plamsa ion, Electron Precipitation (Sittler et al., 2009; Hartle et al., 2006 estimates 1015ergs/s keV O+-ions) -Solar UV causes day-side ionosphere out to SZA 100deg -nightside ionosphere formed by plasma transport , variable SW pressure –titan can be inside/outisde magnetosphere

Observed an eclipse of 7august2009 - No FUV molecular emissions (VK or LBH) - c4’(0,1), c4’(2,3; 3,4) EUV emissions -NII 1085A, NI1200 A emissions -UV eclipse spectra are weak compared to non-eclipse observations (25march08; 22june2009; 8may 2008)
