A General Insurance Program for the Canadian Districts of Rotary International

History Canada wide committee Established by R.I. Director Bill Gant 5 Rotarians with expertise in liability and D&O Made-in-Canada Solution

General Liability To pay for accident claims arising out of Rotary activities Limit $5,000,000. Rotary members, their spouses and volunteers are covered by the program Rotaract, Interact & Inner Wheel members are covered

Directors & Officer Liability To pay for financial claims made against a Rotary Director or Officer resulting out of a wrongful act. Limit $2,000,000.

Miscellaneous Property Floater To cover club paraphernalia & equipment including rented or borrowed equipment. Limit $10,000. Higher limits are available Each club is allowed to increase the limit up to $30,000 for a single event each year without any extra cost. If a club needs to increase the limit more than once a year, an additional premium will be charged. Please complete a Special Events Questionnaire for each event.

Broadform Money & Securities To cover theft of cash from club fund raising events. Limit $30,000. Higher limits are available

Member / Employee Dishonesty To cover theft of money or property by a club member or an employee. Limit $30,000 Higher limits are available.

For special events were liquor is served Most Rotary events where liquor is served are covered at no extra cost. If the event will have more than 500 people attending, please complete a Liquor Liability Questionnaire. Additional premiums may apply depending on the size and nature of the event.

Managing the risk of Sexual Abuse 1. Follow the District Sexual Abuse Protocol. 2. All Rotary Youth Exchange host families are to be properly screened. 3. Our program includes insurance to cover abuse with a sub limit of $1,000,000 and a 10% deductible.

Special Events Planning Complete the Special Events Questionnaire Rented or borrowed equipment Inventory If the venue asks for proof of insurance, please complete a Certificate of Insurance Request Form.

Rotarians Travelling Our program does NOT provide any Travel Medical Insurance. Each Rotarian should arrange their own coverage. Our program does NOT provide any Kidnap or Ransom Insurance. Please consult with your local broker or call Gallagher
