Film Reviews

What do they contain? A film review is written to help you decide whether you would like to see a particular film. So they should contain information on the story, characters, actors, special effects and opinions.

Take a look at a review (Insert review here)

Your turn You are going to watch 20 mins of a film and whilst you are watching I want you to write notes on: 1. The story 2. The characters 3. The actors 4. The special effects 5. Your opinions

What next? Now youve finished watching you are going to turn this information into a film review. This will help other people decide whether they would like to watch the film too. Dont forget to give your film a rating out of 10 at the end. I can write a film review.

Plenary (*Teacher insert link to film review*) What are the differences or similarities between your review and this one?
