Presentation transcript:

If the old lock of your car door stops working or the key has broken off in the lock, then it better to install a new auto lock.

If you want to put a new auto lock in your car door, then it not at all a difficult task you will imagine earlier.

In most of the cases, you can also handle and manage the job in an hour without using any special tools.

In the worst cases, the auto lock on the driver's door needs to be replaced when it will wear out or damaged.

The below-given steps help you to install the auto locks in your car door easily.

Start the installation process by using a screwdriver to take out the screws hold in the armrest by the door and take off the covers of the speaker in the door.

Take off the interior door panel that held by a series of plastic clips. Then push the screwdriver between the panel and metal frame to ease the panel out.

Then remove the interior door handle with a plier and pull out the plastic clip. Twist it and allow the dangle to free for accessing the assembly of the lock.

Inside the door a lock core is placed that one joins with a road which is also attached to the door handle assembly.

For installation you can disconnect the rod from the auto lock core in the door. Open up the clip and take out the door handle assembly.

Then use the pliers to take off the pair of bolts which also holds the door handle assembly onto the rod.

If you want to take out the auto lock on the car, first move out the clip from the snap ring to release the lock.

After that put the new lock in the place of the old one and ensure that the lock is placed properly on the way up.

Then you have to put the clip back on the snap sign to secure the lock and make sure that when you insert the keys, that won't be twist up.

Then after put the door handle assembly into the door again and marked the place in which you reconnect the bolt on the rod and the rod to the lock core.

After doing all this, test the key in the new lock to ensure that you will easily and properly open and close the door.

When everything working well reassembles the door. Reverse the above steps for fitting the clips, replace the armrest and speaker cover.
