The art of folding a paper into many shapes. What Is Origami ? The art of folding a paper into many shapes. Origami is the Japanese word for paper folding. ”Ori” means to fold and ”Kami” means paper.

The History of Origami The origin of this art is still unknown. However, some origami historians said that it was originated from China, and it was developed in Japan later. In Japan, the children are generally taught origami at home. For holidays, families will usually decorate their house with it.
