HYCAL Overview We started from the design

HYCAL Overview … then, we looked for the Lead-Glass Counters … … we found them at IHEP, Protvino, Russia…

HYCAL Overview … next, we look longer for the PbWO4 crystals…… … we did beam tests… We choose SICAS, China we purchased 1250 PbWO4 crystals … and 1300 Hamamatsu PMT’s

HYCAL Overview … we developed, constructed and tested the HYCAL-0

HYCAL Overview D. Kashy made a frame for the HYCAL, we tested crystals in the frame

HYCAL Overview … last summer we assembled all crystal detectors, and refurnished the lead-glass Cherenkov counters
