  The Rich Live in Grace, v. 1,2,7  The Rich Live in the Service of Love, v. 2-7 How can we be rich?

  The Rich Live in Grace, v. 1,2,7 We want you to know, brothers and sisters, about the grace of God that has been granted to the churches of Macedonia;…v. 1 How can we be rich?

  The Rich Live in Grace, v. 1,2,7 1. Living in joy, despite being tempted and suffering, v. 2a...for during a severe ordeal of affliction, their abundant joy… How can we be rich?

  The Rich Live in Grace, v. 1,2,7 2. A life rich in generosity despite poverty, v. 2b …their extreme poverty has overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. How can we be rich?

  The Rich Live in Grace, v. 1,2,7 3. A rich life in faith, in knowledge, in utmost eagerness, and in love, v. 7 Now, as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in utmost eagerness, and in our love for you—so we want you to excel also in this generous undertaking, v. 7 How can we be rich?

  The Rich Live in the Service of Love, v Able to give beyond our ability, v. 3-5 For, as I can testify, they voluntarily gave according to their means, and even beyond their means, begging us earnestly for the privilege of sharing in this ministry to the saints— and this, not merely as we expected; they gave themselves first to the Lord and, by the will of God, to us How can we be rich?

 Giving beyond our abilities because… How can we be rich? First, everything belongs to Him. Second, we give by the will of God.

  The Rich Live in the Service of Love, v Finish the ministry of love which begins, v. 6 …so that we might urge Titus that, as he had already made a beginning, so he should also complete this generous undertaking among you, v. 6 How can we be rich?
