HOUSE SYSTEM IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT

Context: Current Branding Red House TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More Yellow House Commitment Breeds Success Blue House Belief. Love. Unity. Excellence. Green House Support, Serve, Succeed.

Context: Student Voice ‘The names are boring. We should have names like Lion, Tiger… I think the houses should join together- have more unity’ - Tyra, Year 11 ‘The House System is alright, but we don’t like the names’ - Trey & Kayden, Year 8 ‘I think the lack of distinction is good. You can’t really differentiate between colours, and I think it would be difficult to find something as balanced’ - Rita, Year 10 ‘We should call them Dragon and Donkey! Not literally that, but we could have something similar… We could have different fish species.’ - Callum, Year 11 Sixth Former A: ‘They’re (the Houses) alright. Not very creative. At my Dad’s school they have different types of trees. Sixth Former B: ‘I wouldn’t have trees…or plants…or animals..I wouldn’t want to be in Rabbit House’ - Zara & George
