I’m Mrs. Swanson I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures, and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. I am married to my wonderful husband, Kyle. We have a son (Kooper) who is just about 4, a daughter (Macyn) who is 2, and another son (Knox), who was born in April. When I am not teaching, they take up all of my free time, but some hobbies I enjoy are baking, turkey hunting, and reading! I have lived in Pueblo my whole life and actually attended North Mesa A LONG time ago! I went to County High School and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2010. I have an older sister who owns her own hair salon in Denver and a little brother who works with my sister there. This will be my third year teaching 4th Grade at North Mesa. Before that, I taught 5th Grade for a year, kindergarten for a year, and 2nd grade for two years! So far, fourth grade is my favorite and I can’t wait to begin another fantastic year! It is my goal to create a memorable year and instill a love of learning in my students. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
