Objectives Construct and/or interpret bar graphs, line graphs, and circle graphs (2-3 and 2-4).

Steps To construct a graph: Draw and label both scales (including subtitles). Determine the interval and label accordingly. Draw a bar or line to represent the data. Give the graph a title.

To interpret graphs Look at given information including title, subtitles, #’s, and given data. Read all questions carefully. Interpret data given in order to answer questions.

Circle Graphs A circle graph is used to compare parts to a whole. All %’s given in a circle must equal to 100%. Use circle graphs for percents.
