VICH explanatory document Brussels: need to reduce the potential misunderstanding that the VICH is a regulatory system The SC has reviewed the existing VICH explanatory document on role of VICH guidelines with aim to provide more detail on this point and update relevant information Review of the translations of the document Improvement of the VICH public website

Proposals for new VICH topics Brussels: Forum members proposed new topics The SC confirmed that one of the objectives of the Outreach is to enable Forum members to provide proposals for new topics Discussion paper for review at a Forum meeting Discussion on the scope of VICH Agenda item 6 & 7

Providing feedback on the acceptance of existing guidelines Brussels: Forum members explained status of acceptance of VICH GLs in their countries Further clarifications on the national situation in certain countries Agenda item 6

Collating comments on draft guidelines Brussels: Are comments on draft GLs by non- VICH forwarded to VICH Expert Working Groups (EWGs) for review? EWG chairs: template for “overview of comments received at step 4 of the VICH process” Comment received and proposed change Outcome of consideration VICH GL at Step 4 will mention the publication of comments Agenda item 11

Training Brussels: Forum members requests for training VICH will collaborate with OIE Opportunities & challenges OIE needs assessment survey outcome Agenda items 3 & 5

Translations Brussels: VICH language is English, but translations requested by some Forum Members or to publish translations on VICH web Some VICH members have other local languages. Some other translations exist OIE will host a library of links To be discussed further Agenda item 8
