Utah National Parks Weathering

Weathering & Erosion Weathering –effects of weather over a long period of time that changes the formations of rocks. Erosion- slowly breaking down rocks and soil caused by water, wind or ice.

Bryce Canyon National Park Millions of years of wind, water has shaped the pink cliffs at Bryce. Also, frost-wedging and the dissolving power of rainwater have shaped the colorful limestone.
