Lego Parts NXT Brain (Brick) and Battery Motors and Sensors Cables Gears Beams and Angle Pieces Wheels and Axles Pins

NXT Brain and Battery It is very important when your robot is built it possible to plug the charger into this port. Otherwise, I can’t charge your robot and it will go flat very quickly!

Motors and Sensors Touch Sensor: Measures Boolean Value (Touched or Not Touched) Light Sensor: Measures Percentage Value (Between 0 – 100%) (Dark – Light) Has built in sensor that counts how many times the motor has turned Motor slow but strong, gears can be used to make is fast but weak Sound Sensor: Measures decibel Value (Between 0 – 100dB) (Quiet – Loud) Ultrasonic Sensor: Measures Distance Value (Between 0 – 255cm)

Cables

Beams and Angle Pieces ‘U’ Number = Number of Holes E.G. A 5U Beam has 5 Holes

Wheels and Axles ‘U’ Number = Same Beam Length A 7U Axle is the same length as a 7U Beam

Pins Use these ones Not these ones Single Pin Pin to Axle Double Pin (Some are blue) Double Pin to Axle (Socket)
