Introduction Name of proposed collaborative project: Conference to promote awareness of education for GIRLS Brief of description The conf. aims at raising awareness on education for girls & women and various support programmes to enable SEAMEO member countries to develop action plans and future collaboration.

Details of project Objectives of Conference for Capacity Building: To create awareness among communities, parents, stakeholders, institutions for girls attending school To understand the needs to create a budget based on “gender” To share experiences, best practices on gender in education projects To strengthen future collaboration among SEAMEO member countries.
