The Shining Gospel Paul had confidence in the gospel (1-2) 1 Corinthians 1:20-25 The Gospel is veiled to the ungodly (3-4) Romans 1:21-25; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 Christ is the Message, not Self (5) 1 Corinthians 3:5-11 The Gospel shines in the hearts of the righteous! (6) “in the face of Jesus” cf. John 8:12

Is the Gospel Veiled to You? Or Shining in your Heart? Conclusion The Idea of Jesus as being the light of the gospel is clearly revealed here. “...the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” (vs. 4) “...the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (vs. 6) Is the Gospel Veiled to You? Or Shining in your Heart?
