The Open Door Revelation 4:1-11

This “Door” is the Way to God Jesus is the Way, the Truth & the Life Jesus is the “Door” we enter through His voice is like the “Trumpet of God”

John is Called up to Heaven He sees God on His heavenly throne His appearance was like “Jasper” and “Carnelian” The rainbow encircling His throne is a symbol of eternal life

The 24 “Elders” They represent the Church in heaven Their “white clothing” shows purity and righteous works Their “crowns” are rewards for believers

A View of God’s Throne The “7 Lamps” are a symbol of the Holy Spirit The “Sea of Glass” shows us the peace we’ll have in Heaven Lightning and Thunder are signs of God’s Judgment

The 4 “Living Creatures” They are also mentioned by Ezekiel and Isaiah Their “eyes” show alertness and awareness Their faces represent the “Faces of Christ”

Laying our “Crowns” at the Throne We will be in constant worship Jesus is worthy to receive Glory, Honor, & Power He created all things according to “His Will” He created us and He saved us
