Presentation transcript:

I have five sides and not all of them are the same length. What shape am I? Irregular pentagon I have four sides and all of my sides are the same length. I also have four right angles. Square I have six sides that are all the same length. Hexagon I have four sides. Two sides that are next to each other have the same length while the other two sides are the same length but are slightly longer. Kite

Right-angled triangle I have four sides. Opposite sides are of equal length and are parallel. I have no right angles. What shape am I? Parallelogram I have three sides and contain one right angle. Right-angled triangle I have four sides and four right angles. Two sides are the same length while the other two sides are also the same length. Rectangle I have four sides which are all the same length but do not have any right angles. Opposite sides are also parallel. What shape am I? Rhombus

Isosceles triangle Isosceles trapezium Equilateral triangle I have three sides with two of them having the same length. I also have two angles that are the same. What shape am I? Isosceles triangle I have four sides. One pair of sides is parallel to each other while the other pair of sides is the same length. I have no right angles. What shape am I? Isosceles trapezium I have three sides that are the same length. All of my interior angles are the same; 60o. Equilateral triangle I have twelve sides that are all the same length. Regular Dodecagon

I am a seven-sided shape. What am I? Heptagon I have three sides, none of which are the same length. All of my interior angles are different too. What shape am I? Scalene triangle I am a seven-sided shape. What am I? Heptagon I have eight sides that are all the same length. What shape am I? Regular Octagon I have ten sides that are all the same length. What shape am I? Regular Decagon
