Dr. Shelly Sakiyama-Elbert Chair of the Biomedical Engineering Department We’d like to welcome Dr. Sakiyama-Elbert. She is the new chair of the BME department, so we’re grateful that she was able to join us tonight. She’s come to UT from Washington University, and we are very excited for what she has planned for the Biomedical Engineering Department.
