Third Week of Advent: Joy! “But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.’” Lk 2:10

Third Week of Advent: Joy! The Christmas story of “good news of great joy” did not begin with good news or joy

“the angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. . . For nothing is impossible with God.” (Lk 1:28-32,37)
