The 6 Hats of De Bono and how to use them Effectively

So which are you usually?

So how do we use these to answer a problem/question? People come from different ways of thinking People come from different amounts of background information It is hard for people to agree on items When do these items slow down decision making?

Question we must answer as a group: What game will we play tomorrow in class? What will we eat for supper? Should there be any buy outs in the school?

What are the problems in problem solving?

Decision Making Within Groups Green – Idea Generation No other information No thought about what will work Yellow – Decide how each will work No more ideas added Try and make everything work Red – Decision Time Yes or no Which of these are you best at? Does it fit in with your True Colour and you Hat?
