Where is New Zealand? Let’s go to visit!

Location of New Zealand New Zealand is an island off the coast of Australia, and it is made up of two islands ---North and South Island. The Pacific Ocean lies to the north and east, and the Tasman Sea to the south and west. It is the same size as Philippines, but bigger than Guangdong Province. Its capital is Wellington, and there are some important cities---Auckland in the north, Christchurch on the South and Queenstown further to the south.

Wellington, the capital of New Zealand and it is the political, industrial, business and financial center of the country.

Nestled between the two large harbors is Auckland, the largest city of New Zealand. It is known as “ the City of Sails”.

Christchurch is often called “ the most British city outside the UK” Christchurch is often called “ the most British city outside the UK”. People are all deeply impressed with its wonderful natural sights, so it is also called “ the Garden City”. Christchurch, the largest city on New Zealand’s South Island, is an important transportation, manufacturing, and education center. Several institutions of higher learning are located here.

Queenstown lies beside Lake Wakatipu and is an all-year tourist resort Queenstown lies beside Lake Wakatipu and is an all-year tourist resort. It is an ideal place for fishing, water-skiing, boating and skiing.
