Tourism and Tourism Management Tourism Management as a single honours subject Tourism as a joint honours subject combined with: Business Management, Business Law and Geography

Both programmes offer Comprehensive coverage of the key areas of tourism and management Focus on social, cultural and economic context of tourism Opportunities for work placement Emphasis on ethics and sustainability of tourism activities Opportunities for undertaking fieldwork at home and abroad Acquisition of work related skills and competencies Excellent level of tutorial support

Teaching delivery Teaching is delivered through lectures, practical work/exercises, small-group tutorials, seminars and fieldwork Lectures provide overviews of a topic and you will be expected to read around the subject afterwards Seminars explore and discuss subjects in conjunction with your peers

Assessment methods A wide range of are used, including: examinations, essays, project and fieldwork reports and oral presentations. Normally 60% of the assessment is coursework and 40% exam but many of our modules are 100% coursework, reflecting the very practical nature of the programme.
