Sails Angels is all about small safe boats on the James River Sails Angels  is all about small safe boats on the James River. At any given time, during the warmer weather, we have half a dozen uniquely rigged aluminum canoes at the waters edge, ready for outings on the James. Here's a visual:             www.sailsangels.com/2014highlights. Our outings (both half day and full day) consist of as few as 2 and at most 12 participants. Our boats can be sailed, paddled, rowed, towed or run on solar charged battery with trolling motor. It all depends on the unique needs of the participants, the tides, and the weather.  Our participants include the handicapped, the disadvantaged, at risk urban youth, and any one who would benefit from a safe day on the river. Sails Angels Richmond is all volunteer, 4 year old, 501 C 3 non profit corporation serving the local and visiting communities in unique ways. Sails Angels Richmond is committed to providing an environment that is free from discrimination because of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or age.

SAILS ANGELS SAILS ANGELS IS A GROUP OF LOCAL CANOE SAILORS AND PADDLERS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING OUTSTANDING RIVER BASED ACTIVITIES AT NO COST FOR YOUTH COMMUNITIES, CHURCH GROUPS AND OTHERS THAT BENEFIT.
