Vocabulary February 9-13

accuracy Definition: the ability to work or perform without making mistakes. Part of Speech: noun Synonyms: precision, accurateness.

accuracy Accuracy in the writing class was very important to the students.

specific Definition: clearly and exactly presented or stated. Part of Speech: adjective Synonyms: precise, exact.

specific On Thursday, the students had to write on a specific topic.

critique Definition: a careful judgment in which you give your opinion about the good and bad parts of something (such as a piece of writing or a work of art). Part of Speech: noun Synonyms: examine, review.

critique The writing class had to review each others work and critique how well their partners followed the rubric.

feedback Definition: helpful information or criticism that is given to someone to say what can be done to improve a performance, product, etc. Part of Speech: noun
