“How do you define college?” *On your worksheet, brainstorm what you know about higher education

The “ABCD’s” of Higher Education Community or Junior College Associate College/University Bachelor Graduate/Professional School Master a “concentration” Graduate/Professional School Doctorate

Community/Junior College General education courses (Math, English, Science, etc.) Prepares you to transfer to a 4-year college/university Upon completion, you receive an Associate degree (2-year) Can also earn a technical or vocational certificate *Possible Jobs: See handout
