Locked

This lock has 3 wheels. Each wheel in numbered 0-9. What is the smallest 3 digit combination possible? What is the greatest 3 digit combination possible? How many possible combinations are there? What is the probability you guess the right combination?

The company that makes this lock claims that it offers 10,000 combinations and that it’ll take 10 times longer to crack than a lock with 3 wheels. Are those claims true? What is the probability you guess the right combination?

Each combination for this lock uses 3 numbers in a right, left, right pattern. How many possible combinations can you make with a combination lock? How many could you make if you could also make them in a left, right, left pattern?

This lock on the left has a special restriction This lock on the left has a special restriction. Once you have used a number in your combination you cannot use that number again. How many combinations can you make with this lock?

You need to make a random 5 character password consisting of numbers and letters. The password is case sensitive and the characters cannot be repeated. How many passwords can you make?
