Aeschylus Aeschylus was an ancient Greek playwright. He is often recognized as the father of tragedy He is the earliest of the three Greek tragedians whose plays survive, the others being Sophocles and Euripides. He expanded the number of characters in plays to allow for conflict among them Seven of an estimated seventy to ninety plays by Aeschylus have survived into modern times

About the Team Kristina is a hard working girl with little common sense. Barron is a charming young man who is very talented. Abigail is a sweet young lady who loves Orlando Bloom.

Agamemnon King of Mycenae and leader of the Greek armies in the Trojan War. He was the son of Atreus, on whose house a curse had been laid. Clytemnestra was his wife, and together they had two sons, Orestes and Chrysothemis, and two daughters, Iphigenia and Electra.

Achillies son of the nymph Thetis and Peleus Achilles is the only mortal to experience consuming rage He led a group of men in the Trojan war Agamemnon tried to control him but he could not be controlled He killed Hector the greatest warrior in Troy He was said to be immortal but his mother left his heel vulnerable when she dipped him in the Styx river which was his only weakness Killed by Paris when he was shot in his heel In hell he was seen still leading his army

Hector The greatest warrior of Troy in the Trojan army Son of Priam and Hecuba He did not approve of the war His brother Paris was a coward It is said of two different stories of how he dies 1. In the movie troy he is said to fight one on one with Achilles and gets killed. 2. In the Lliad story it is said that when he was approached by Achilles he loses his nerves and runs around but later fights and dies.

Paris Child of Hecuba and Priam His mother had a dream just before he was born that he would be the reason for the down fall of Troy and it came true. He ran away with Helen of Greece and this started the war and the kill of many people. Paris and Diomedes brother of Agamemnon, fight for the lady Helen and he ends up losing but is saved by his brother Hector. Later he kills Achilles with an arrow that is said to be guided by the god Apollo Paris himself was killed with an arrow from Philoctetes

About Oresteia Oresteia is a trilogy about Agamemnon and his son Orestes.
