New developments New developments Russia : new routes Russia Netherlands (H and L) : declining UK : declining LNG : new sources + Baltic Southern Corridor Unconventional gas ? Increased cross-border capacity Russia Norway UK DE NL LNG from all over the world AZ RO CY Algeria Tunisia Remark : There are other producing countries in Europe, but there contribution is small

Gas quality Netherlands : decline of L-gas  transition to H-gas in DE, BE, FR and NL (?) and impact on storage (FR, NL) UK, Germany : decline of H-gas  new supplies needed Russia : new routes with similar gas quality Southern Corridor : new sources from Caspian countries LNG : new sources according to existing (wide) gas qualities in a global LNG market competing with US and Far East Increased cross-border capacities – including reverse flows – to support the Internal Gas Market : progressive harmonisation expected along H-gas quality specifications New developments in Europe : biomethane injection, H2 injection, power-to-gas… 6
